What have we thought of the modern day Shaman?
Many of us perceive the Shaman to be a relic of old, outdated, and not of much use in today's society. This
is, however, too simplistic, fore the Shaman and other gifted people can assist the modern man in becoming
more happy and useful to themselves and others. “Shaman” is a word commonly associated with the
Americas , but it actually originated in several tribal cultures of Russia, Mongolia, and India The expression
to describe a medicine person – or one who dances between the worlds of life and death; between the worlds
of the tangible and intangible – was exported to the Americas by voyagers who witnessed a similarly
important person in the tribal people they encountered. A Shaman is one who relies on the wisdom of the
wolf and other animals while building his connection with the Great Spirit (God). What you would call
Shamanism, has began to become important once again. Why?

As the consciousness and vibrational level of planet earth rises, and signs of nature's changes become more
apparent, people are remembering the necessity to be assisted in life with the simple tools that never fail.
